#DoiOS25 was a blast!

I've had some great fun learning from all the speakers, catching up with folks I haven't seen in a while or even met in person yet! And met some great new folks that I hope to stay in contact with ๐Ÿค—

Amazingly I got recognized as a speaker at @appdevcon and then as "that #SketchNote guy" from #DoiOS2024 by the same person. ๐Ÿ˜†

Thanks @appforce1 for organising it! Looking forward to next year's edition.

Closing off the day, Burcu Kutluay takes us through the evolution of the Swift language, and the many big changes we had to survive to get where we are. But we're doing great, and Swift is getting more and more exciting! #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
Now that Swift 6.2 is out, Approachable Concurrency makes adopting it easier and easier. @swiftlee gives us some excellent tips and tricks to get started, without slowing us down too much. #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
A very important lesson from @hidde: "Sell the product, not the method!" If you have an AI button in your app, you likely are doing yourself and the user a misservice. Instead, try to think about what you user actually wants and give them that with AI instead. #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
If you're not doing App Intents yet, you really really should. @Clure shows us how she made an app where all of the interaction is done without actually opening it! A great show of what's possible when you leverage the system. Plus, great dog pictures ๐Ÿถ #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
Continuing the accessibility trend, @Robinkanatzar shows us how we can make it Practical, Maintainable and Testable. Especially unit testing accessibility is pretty hard, so it was very nice to see some concrete example to investigate. #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
There are some really nice things that you can do if you make your own custom components like SwiftUI makes 'em. @deanatoire showed us some great techniques to make APIs that feel right at home. #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
Starting off the second day, @bas lightly roasts the accessibility of two apps to teach us how we can check for accessibility issues. He also mentions some great new features that I hadn't thought about yet, such as Assistive Access! #DoiOS25 #SketchNote
Had a tiny break, but let's continue! #DoiOS25 spans over two days, and the second day was just as fun ๐Ÿค— Excellent talks and lots of things to #SketchNote!
