I watched #ParadiseTowers and I just love the McCoy era. I watch this and remember how different it all feels from here on out. It's silly and funny and clever. A bit too knowing in places and 80s BBC lighting holds it back but... ah happy place. Build high for happiness! #DoctorWho #DoctorWhoRewatch

Today I watched #TheTwinDilemma. Apart from the arrogance, bullying and physical assault business, I love the Sixth Doctor. He's such a dramatic little b... Doctor. :D

Honestly though the ideas are interesting in this new Doctor: the post-regeneration condition causing such paranoia and violence and cowardice, having a new Doctor start mid (sort of) season. It's kinda brave but also done so unsympathetically it becomes so very bad.

I've been watching #TheAndroidsOfTara (yes I'm still doing the #DoctorWhoRewatch, and am still here on occassion).

I'm not the biggest fan of the Key to Time season tbh, but I do wish we'd had more of Mary Tamm's Romana; She's really enjoyable to watch and gets the exasperated, high-society, book-smarts confidence (smugness) vibe down so well. #DoctorWho

I watched #TheAndroidInvasion yesterday. This show is so stupid I love it. #DoctorWho #DoctorWhoRewatch

I watched #TheTimeWarrior - that Lis Sladen though!

She exudes this natural and immediate presence from the very first scene.

Honestly, it's not even Sarah Jane in her boss girl era, its the presence of Sladen right from the get go, and carrying on throughout her time. Something special. #DoctorWho #DoctorWhoRewatch

After finishing watching #TheGreenDeath I must say it was really rather touching watching the #BehindTheSofa for it and seeing the team, gang, fam's responses to Jo's exit.

Very touching to watch Katy and John in particular; they seem such an close bunch and I can't help feeling how effecting it must be to see something that represents the end of a special period in your life like that.

But also to see Joy Wilkinson't appreciation at watching if the for the first time, and Pete McTighe and Phil Collinson clearly tap into some emotional memories too. #DoctorWho #DoctorWhoRewatch

Today I watched #CarnivalOfMonsters - it may be my favourite Third Doctor story (it and Time Warrior are the business).

It did remind me though that my posts here has changed quite a lot. Sometimes we intend to be silly but then have to acknowledge the reality of our environment and times and the impact they have on us.

I'm still doing my #DoctorWhoRewatch though. Sometimes we do need to take a break from the seriousness. Cheers Vorg.

I watched #TheWarGames - in black and white!

I think it's wonderful; how the story morphs and grows as the serial progresses, how it ends its era dropping so many threads that would be picked up in #DoctorWho future by keeping things vague enough to be developed, rather than be dead ends.

Remarkably for a 10-parter it in no way drags, even the run about eps have a [sort of] point and develops that widening story.

The ending ep kills me and I love and despair at Jamie and Zoe's ending. Especially Zoe's; she grew a lot in her time and it's all gone and she knows, some part of her at the end KNOWS she's forgotten something and I hate it and love it. #DoctorWhoRewatch

Let it be known, that #TheMindRobber is a work of art. #DoctorWho #DoctorWhoRewatch
As much as I love it, sometimes I watch 60s #DoctorWho and feel its age terribly, but sometimes I watch it, like #TheWebOfFear and think hot damn Anne Travers you are wonderful. #DoctorWhoRewatch
