Wonder why I mentioned React2shell... Those vulnerable Next.js apps often run in containers and guess what happens to the exploits if those containers are Minted and reinforced with what I've built ๐Ÿ˜‰ Powered by #DockerSlim tech.
The #KubeCon / #CloudNativeCon in Atlanta was super exciting! Demo'ed the new Podman container runtime support minifying container images with #DockerSlim (now #PodmanSlim :-)) Here's a short demo version:

And if you don't know about Iximiuz Labs, you are missing out... You get lots of playgrounds with different Cloud-Native and not only tools (including Kubernetes, which CNCF recently included in their docs), challenges, tutorials, courses and even learning paths. We'll be using the Labs to accelerate building the new capabilities for #DockerSlim, so we don't loose any time Minting awesome containers the easy way (so much to learn and build... time flies at KubeCon :-))

Looking forward to my hands on KubeCon session in Atlanta next month Tuesday November 11! Join me even if you don't care about #DockerSlim ๐Ÿ™‚ We'll get to learn about building AI assistant and MCP server capabilities in #Golang applications. We'll turn Ivan's Iximiuz Labs into Mint Containers Labs for this session, so it'll be easier to get started.
Looking forward to #KubeCon / #CloudNativeCon in Atlanta & exploring/building integrated AI Assistant and MCP Server capabilities in #DockerSlim . Join the session even if you don't care about the project if you're curious about learning more about building AI Assistants and MCP Servers in #Golang ๐Ÿ™‚
Lots of people have been asking for the Podman container runtime support minifying images with #DockerSlim and it's finally coming! If you want to get a preview and try it before anybody else ping me
Platform / DevOps engineers and even Devs often know a lot less about the applications they work with than I expected. This is one of the surprising learnings helping #DockerSlim / MinToolkit users. Enough application knowledge is key for pretty much every application maintenance activity out there (before & after it's deployed)
The video for our "Malicious Compliance Automated: When You Have 4000 Vulnerabilities and only 24 Hours Before Release" @Rejekts talk from last month (right before KubeCon). When we gave the talk it was already 5000 vulnerabilities :-) Thanks to #DockerSlim (aka MinToolkit) we removed most of them and then we made the rest of them disappear. Watch the video to find out how!
Excited to end 2024 for #DockerSlim on a high note making lazy loading containers approachable and introducing the ability to run containers anywhere (any local container runtime, many remote container runtimes). If you are interested in either DM/email/Discord/Slack(in CNCF)
Did you know that you can install #DockerSlim by running it? Once you download and unpack run "./mint app install" from the location where the directory where the binary is located (also don't forget about "mint app update" to update to the latest version.
