There are reports in the media of normalcy in J&K and some clamour for removal of AFSPA. Absence of normalcy is not peace and AFSPA remains a necessary instrument of the state to bring any disturbed area back to normalcy. In this context Lt Gen Satish Dua (R) and I shared some thoughts on AFSPA.
