The Symphonist#DiscoveryOfTheWeek W. H. Reed is best-known as Elgar's biographer but this lovely recording reveals an excellent composer in his own right. These quartets are gorgeous - passionately expressive, harmonically imaginative and full of fine tunes. A revelation!
