Roma, 21 mag. (Adnkronos) - “Il Coni è l'organo di riferimento del mondo dello sport, erroneamente associato solo a quello agonistico, invece il Coni è una famiglia enorme che ha sotto 51 federazioni, 15 enti di promozione e milioni di tesserati”. Lo ha detto Marco Di Paola, vicepresidente del Coni durante il suo intervento alla Maratona del Bullismo 2026 organizzata dall'Osservatorio Nazionale sul bullismo e sul disagio giovanile al palazzo dell'Informazione dell'Adnkronos.. Non soltanto un comitato sportivo, ma uno strumento formativo che si affianca a quello genitoriale e scolastico.
“I ragazzi identificano nello sport punti di riferimento come i loro allenatori, che spesso si trovano anche a sostituirsi al ruolo genitoriale nella crescita dei ragazzi - ha sottolineato Di Paola- una responsabilità che sentiamo tutta”. La presenza del Coni e del mondo sportivo nella formazione della società civile si presenta con non pochi ostacoli. “La difficoltà è riuscire a distinguere tante situazioni diverse e avere strumenti rapidi e incisivi per affrontarli”, ha specificato il vicepresidente del Comitato olimpico. Strumenti che si rilevano fondamentali “per crescere il Sinner del futuro e formare dall'inizio giovani atleti con la linea dei principi e dei valori che lo sport propone”.

Tools that are deemed fundamental “to grow the future Sinner and to form young athletes from the beginning with the line of principles and values that sport proposes.”
