I first heard of the French #chanteuse Cyrille Aimee at the #DetroitJazzFestival and became an instant fan. Her voice is dreamy and ethereal, with a bit of an Edith Piaf quaver. The lyrics are a mix of sentimental, sweet, joyous, poignant, and longing.
