The Detroit Jazz Festival is streaming on YouTube from one of their stages, and I have to say today the lineup is pretty good.
I first heard of the French #chanteuse Cyrille Aimee at the #DetroitJazzFestival and became an instant fan. Her voice is dreamy and ethereal, with a bit of an Edith Piaf quaver. The lyrics are a mix of sentimental, sweet, joyous, poignant, and longing.
My chonky #cat is also enjoying this.
