Inspired mold choices for these #deskbots.
In honour of @trixter 's very hard work here's a special #Deskbots post celebrating the very lovely Transformers Legends anthology paperback! The book has been out of print for some time but Trixter, uber-Fan, has painstakingly created a digital edition to ensure this minor classic is not lost to time! And now its ready! Aaaahhh!
Please grab yourself a copy here and be sure to say nice things to Trixter on your way past. ☺️
I have successfully fought the urge to let the perfect be the enemy of the good and I'm declaring the Transformers Legends ebook project FINISHED! You can download it from my project page at https://trixter.neocities.org or get it from Archive.org at https://archive.org/details/transformers-legends ! A very special #Gobot themed #Deskbots today. These are all toys I owned as a boy, lost to time, so I'm *thrilled* to own them again.
From left to right:
Spay-c (no relation to Kevin)
Rest-Q ("Rescue", geddit?)
Spoons (???)
Water Walk (The perfect Easter purchase 😋)
Spay-c is what used to be known as a "Space Shuttle", a vehicle used to hop into orbit and back. The US had five of them (name them all without googling); two were named after Star Trek series, one after a Stargate series.
A battle for the ages! This scene is reminiscent of a fight between Galvatron and the ever-popular Dinobots in issue 102 of the Marvel UK comic!
Galvatron here in the colours his original toy was released in (totally different from his movie dark purple appearance).
Who won? Despite the Dinobots' strength it's likely the super powerful Galvatron *would* have won; only the appearance of the Decepticon army made him flee the scene!
Micro-Seekers! These core class boys are pretty nifty toys. Just a shame I've had to pinch Legends Skywarp's weaponry for this shot after Hasbro decided in their unfinite wisdom to not give him the arm cannons that Starscream had.
I mean, by all accounts that build-a-weapon gimmick didn't even work correctly so what was the point, again?
