#NowPlaying ‘the sky chases the bird’, an austere yet intensely lovely, room- and mind-filling album by @microtones, picked up in #BandcampFriday yesterday.

I’ve bought—and have enjoyed—a lot of David’s work over the years but have missed the last few releases so this was a good opportunity to remedy that.

These two long pieces are “improvisations in a microtonal just intonation tuning”. Music of sublime slowness for these lifetimes that accelerate ever onwards.
