- move *.wav files off of the #DJImic2
- ffmpeg convert to VBR MP3 for #Whisper
- Transcribe through Whisper

The "?" is the trickier part. I don't exactly get any metadata with my recordings. If I were making my own device, I'd be keeping GPS logs so that when I extract audio I could maybe have time & place together in the workflow. The lack of metadata is what I'm thinking about. That context could be useful.
Something else that is working really well: I'm using a #DJImic2 transmitter only as a sort of #Plaud device. It's really just a digital recorder that magnetically sticks to my shirt.
I wore it to the dentist and then asked for an #AI summary of my visit. NAILED IT. This was really good. But I used Whisper running on my Mac, Ollama running on my own GPU. No cloud service. No overpriced single-purpose device. No subscriptions.
