This 775 spindle motor only gets to ~8500RPM at 24V (~355KV 🤣). It's definitely going to be the first thing I replace after getting a new controller.

Once I fit it with a dust collector, I can start cutting fiberglass sheets and upgrade my #Tamiya #DF01 to an FRP chassis without having to bid on vintage parts. (I think the price of those parts alone would exceed the cost of this "mill"  )

Hung out with some pigeons today.

(I was careful to not scare them)

Devilsome dirt thrashing!

I really like the way the #DF01 handles. It seems to get the back end swung out faster and generally has more responsive steering than my #DF02 .

The downside is that the battery area isn't big enough for my homemade 26650 packs so I had to use my smaller LiFe batteries which have less capacity and current output. Looks like I'll need to 3D print a new battery tray

the #MantaRay is finally painted and decal-ed...

the airbrushing was less consistent that I wanted and there are gaps in the stickers but... it's done! 😤
