I got out to the river today to watch the pelicans rehearsing for the ballet. #DEHG
Here's the "actual"/"finished" double exposure picture. #dehg
Here's one of my random little double exposure quips: The Backyard Tapestry. #dehg

@mtechman I usually only hashtag for my own amusement (#BackOnMyBushtit or etc. types of tags) or to help people silence types of my posts they might get tired of seeing crop up (#DEHG) as opposed to for labeling or searchability. πŸ˜… (Posts end up feeling so clunky to me otherwise.)
More #DEHG play: A pair of evening grosbeaks in my backyard auditioning for Paul Klee's "Landscape with Yellow Birds."
I took this (really very odd, weirdly composed) photo and was struck by how much it reminded me of a Rothko painting, so I made it into one (slow video transformation via dual exposure). Bonus: little dancing egret. #DEHG
@tonicfunk You inspired me! 🀭#DEHG
As I was playing around with silhouettes and double exposure again, my sunlit photo of starlings chasing off a sharp-shinned hawk became a shadowy rustling of paper birds. The ghost of a background is a photo of the same starlings sheering off once the hawk gave in and swung away below them and into the distance. #DEHG
