Today, during the Support Your Parks Weekend, I went to Jacobipark #DE0260 in Hamburg and completed my #POTA activation with 19 QSOs on 20 and 40 meters. Conditions were mixed. I brought a 60 W solar panel with me to test the effect of the MPPT charger on the radio. Result: no interference! And yes, at some point I became too lazy to keep putting the panel in the sun... The battery was full, and the shade was pleasant. This made it bearable even at 30 degrees Celsius.

Today‘s #POTA was the #draussenfunker summer get-together at #DE0260 Jacobipark.
It was great meeting so many folks from the community.
This was also the first time my self-built mic splitter was used for multi-op operations. It worked well and sped up mic handovers significantly.
I wish I could attend the #draussenfunker summer get-together today in Hamburg in #DE0260 Jacobipark. I am still in south of Germany and can’t come by, so I wish everyone who will be there a wonderful day and good contacts!
Todays #POTA activations were #DE0138 Westerweiden, followed by #DE0468 Rüschpark. Both are located on the former island Finkenwerder.
I had a number of #draussenfunker
QSOs as well as P2Ps. A good way to get into the mood for the #draussenfunker summer get-together tomorrow in Hamburg in #DE0260 Jacobipark. We’ll likely be active from the park on 40m/20m/15m and 2m/70cm.
