Pixelfed.social is now in Curated Onboarding mode after weeks of closed registrations.

What this means is we are carefully curating new user applications, to ensure our community safety as we've seen an influx of spam/malicious accounts.

Once we're finished with v1 of FediThreat, we will re-open registrations.

Curated Onboarding does ask for your birthdate during the registration process

However, it's important to note that we don't store your birthdate (or transmit it in any way)

Rather we only use it to determine if you are old enough to register based on the region you're in.
