The Cultural Deal calls for a commitment to allocate at least 2% of the next EU budget to and make culture part of EU's internal strategy and external soft power ambitions.

The EU’s long-term budget for 2028 to 2034 is being shaped now. These decisions affect support for culture, heritage, democracy and civil society.
AgoraEU has been proposed with 8.6 billion euros. The Cultural Deal for Europe calls for at least 2 percent of the EU budget to go to culture and heritage.
