To broaden and enrich my writing, I've been attending workshops and group writing sessions with Sage Tyrtle's Crow Collective. Already, I've been able to take a piece I wrote in a writing group to enrich and deepen a longer work I hope to publish. This weekend, I'll be attending a workshop on setting. I just went to an excellent workshop with #SageTyrtle 's #CrowCollectiveWorkshops called Ladies of Horror. It was amazing! Deirdre Danklin covered a history of horror in fairytales and the way women have been portrayed. We examined some recent responses to this history---the writings of incredibly talented women---and then had time to write. At the end, we had a little sharing party. Most fun!
