a) #CouncilOnCriminalJustice report says: Retail theft is actually down 7% since before the pandemic.

b) #CrimeWavePanicStories are fake (media, political actors, special interests, pro-police🐷 advocates, those who are against progressive District Attorneys, those who attack progressive mayors, rightwing, etc)

c) And the #NationalRetailFederation admitted it exaggerated their report (April 2023) which contributed to the #CrimeWavePanic
