The incident unfolded approximately five miles south of Aspen in the Castle Creek Valley.The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office received word of the family's predicament around 12:45 p.m., with reports indicating that the group of six sought assistance to return to the trailhead. One family member had injured their knee, and several others were wet, according to the sheriff's office report. Following the distress call, a deputy
