In the mid-1950s, a group of enthusiasts began the #HistoricalDance Revival in the UK. In celebration of this year’s International Dance Day (29 April), Sharon Butler of the #EarlyDanceCircle invited #ContinuoConnect into this world, from #Renaissance courts to #Regency ballrooms, where musicians and dancers bring centuries of European culture vividly to life.
