Yes, if people were taking political action instead of catching up on the latest developments in 100 scandals and court cases, actions like writing to their elected reps, writing to the local government, joining with others to protect folk, I think we'd be headed in a better direction.
Too much news is just another consumer opioid IMO.
We're in dire need of adequately informed grass-roots local community activists.
