@mikeege #AlanWong #District4Supervisor #SF . . .

A good speech. 👏👏👏

Apparently very politically ambitious from an early age. Quite a few people in SF have used (or tried to use) election to the #CityCollege Board of Trustees as a stepping stone to higher office.

He's only being appointed for 6 months before an election to fill the remainder of the position will be held but it will give him a leg up in that election, depending on what he does or doesn't do while in office.

No doubt he's better than the 2 tax cheats & there was no way Lurie was going to appoint #ConnieChan. Wong got the nod because he's a moderate & because he's politically ambitious & likely to try to advance Lurie's & Weiner's agendas without looking like he's actually doing so.

Whether he can pull that off will determine whether he has any future beyond the pending election in District 4.

PS: My father was a sous chef at the Grand Hyatt at Union Sq but probably long before Wong's father began working there as a cook.

Well, this is an encouraging resolution, and I, for one, will be urging my Supervisor to support it - If you're in SF, I urge you to do the same.
