DoomsdaysCWCompost pile is up to 120 F. Gave it another stir and added some "liquid gold" this morning. That should get things cooking!

Compost is up to 100ºF (37.8ºC). I need to get it a wee bit hotter, so gave it another good stir (optimal temp is 130-140ºF / 54.4 - 60ºC).
There's nothing like seeing steam coming off the compost pile that's cooking (the weather has cooled off a bit). I think it will heat up even more this week (added a bunch of brown material today and watered it down yesterday). I'll plan on sticking the thermometer into the pile in a few days. I'm sure it's getting to the right temperature (but it's good to check).
