#Scottish #commedian and #actor #StanleyBaxter has died aged 99. He was one of the greats of his time and indeed I owe him a personal thanks. The first ever time I did any acting on stage was using one of his scripts from Parliamo Glasgow. As a 14 y/o boy I am sure it was not a touch on his performances, but it was certainly a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Beyond that he was famous for appearing on TV and stage (usually pantomime) spanning many decades.
