Decided to run through the Fatale graphic novel omnibuses (omnibi?) by Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips. It's been a while since I've read through this story, and (IIRC) this was one of those pandemic lockdown purchases back when we were all stuck inside.

Anyway, if you like Lovecraftian horror mixed with pulp fiction detective noir stories, you'll probably really enjoy these books. Kind of like what might result if "The Call of Cthulu" and "Black Dhalia" fell in love and had a baby.

Honestly, it's not my typical jam when it comes to graphic novels, but I was kind of getting into Ed Brubaker's Criminal series, and so I think I ended up getting this as a result of that interest when I had nothing better to do than read entire series of comics in one shot (or TPB-sized chunks and volumes, as it were).
