Honestly, I’ve always felt somewhat alienated from #cosmichorror, no pun intended, because it’s always felt very predicated on the impression of self-importance. I’ve never felt much like I had ANY importance to the world, nor should I, or anybody, for that matter, so #Chthulhu never bothered me. The only stories that made me actually scared in a cosmic sense were not horror stories but bleak stories about the tragedy of the loss of other people. Shout-out to #finalfantasyxiv #endwalker.
