CarolannieAs I was pulling up more delicious carrots in my P-Patch plot this morning, a little girl toddled up. Her dad was nearby talking on his phone in a heavy French accent. He had just ignored her for a blink! Toddlers are fast! Anyhow, she pulled out a teeny tiny carrot and he apologized. I answered him in French, and he continued in French until he realized I was a bit halting. I gave them a handful of "carottes biologiques" and she got to pull apart some carrot tops for fun. That was my joy for the morning.
