Kitchen Replacement Day 10 (or 12 if you count weekend non-work days): It’s basically finished, bar some light switches and a circuit thing for the house.
And the new TV is awaiting collection and installation this weekend…

Went to put the bins out and found it had already been done and was hiding behind the skip on the front lawn.
Morning Update: The contractor arrived & is now at work. I suspect they won't need to be here for the full day today. But we'll see.
I asked them if they reckon the electrician can put a satellite connection in while they are moving the line from the roof aerial.
Would be nice to have option to choose between Freeview digital terrestrial & Freesat digital satellite television in the kitchen. The dish is literally above the kitchen door but only services upstairs.
Kitchen Replacement Day 1: Morning
Still need to empty some things out of the kitchen before they arrive and rip it out.
And have breakfast.
The rest of my home is a bigger tip than normal, boxes and piles everywhere.
Really should have built a home extension first to house the stuff emptied from the kitchen.
