A newly released video on social media shows prominent Darul Uloom Haqaniyah teacher Maulana Idris being targeted in Charsadda. The video, recorded by security cameras in the area, captures the brutal moments of the attack.

The video shows that the attackers were lying in ambush in the area beforehand and opened fire on Sheikh Idris as he was traveling from his home towards the seminary.

After the shooting, the attackers are seen fleeing the scene very quickly.

This comes as the ISIS militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
