Cat's Café is such a cute webcomic, I love it so much!

....but there's a specific bit that I read recently that I want to draw some attention to. It's a beautiful illustration of the author's trans experience, and one I can relate to on multiple levels ❤️

I have found that I can ignore my dysphoria for a time, but I'll always be forced to listen to what my heart is telling me in the end.

Das 1. Jahr #CatsCafe fand ich ziemlich schlecht – sehr platt und oberflächlich. Als sich #MaxxTarpley dann traut bzw die Fähigkeit hat die für mich nicht anschlussfähige – ich sag mal – #HelloKitty-Niedlichkeit zu durchbrechen, bekam ich langsam Zugang.

Maxx durchbricht nicht nur das Schema, dass es für alles eine einfache Lösung gibt, die alle glücklich macht, sondern auch die seelischen „Abgründe“ der Protagonistys. → Ich bleib dabei, dank an @Odradek
fürs Zeigen. 💛

Ich lese mich seit geraumer Zeit immer mal wieder phasenweise und mit großen Pausen durch den Comic #CatsCafe.
Ich hatte ja damals gesagt, dass ich mir den erstmal anschauen will. Ich bin noch längst nicht durch, aber vielleicht ist das auch egal und ich eröffne einfach mal das Gespräch darüber – ungeachtet dessen, dass ich eigentlich gar keinen Kopf und keine Zeit dafür hab… Auf dem Weg ins Bett wollte ich dich das zumindest schonmal wissen lassen.

Eins kann ich sagen, auch ohne den Comic #CatsCafe zu kennen:

Ich weiß gar nicht, ob das Verhalten, das du beschreibst, typisch für Positivdenkys ist. Ich denke auch recht positiv vermutlich, aber deshalb schreibe ich anderen doch nicht vor, wie sie die Welt zu sehen oder gar zu empfinden haben. Das finde ich ehrlich gesagt, auch ziemlich übergriffig. Als Plüschie spürt eins meistens, wann mensch aufmunternden und wann mitfühlenden Beistand braucht.
