What is it with cats & just knowing that you need a calm presence?
I've been awake since 3am. I was restless. She jumped up on the bed, settled on my lap, & helped me at least get some rest.
It's not all that unusual for her to sleep on me at night, but she didn't even get up to beg for food when spouse got up just now. She's still here, warm & softly purring.
Seriously, this one just knows when she's needed.
Bean has been sitting on my lap all day. Maybe it's the weather: it's kind of cold, gloomy, and wet.
Either way, I am her napping surface today, and that's just how it is.
Bean is not quite an every day cuddler, but when she wants cuddles, she really settles in and gets cozy.
She's been here for an hour and is in no hurry to go anywhere.
It's not my pillow, it's Kiri's pillow.

Bit of a late #Caturday entry, but I decided to finally use her brush for its intended purpose (*not* as a scratching post to rub her face against... 😹), as I noticed she'd been grooming herself very vigorously recently, and leaving us a lot of hairballs on the carpet to clean up... 😅
She doesn't really like to sit still though, so this is unfortunately rare...
