I really wish there was an #AtariST YouTube video of old Sierra On-Line game music on the Atari ST, or even other games that had a #CasioCZ101 option for audio output.
It seems like the CZ101 was the default synth for the Atari back in the day.
I’ve heard how the Roland MT/CM32 sound. I’d really love to hear how the CZ101 sounded on those old Atari ST games.
A Casio CZ-101 that refuses to stay in tune. It turns out the PCB for the [Master Tune] buttons was corroded beyond repair. These are a high-fail item and NLA so it was not looking good!
I found some low-profile Alps tact switches that fitted perfectly when glued onto the old PCB - just two small washers and everything worked great again! And it’s right on tune now 🎹😊
One last thing - clean the super scratchy volume slider, and it’s ready to go home!
