Found myself thinking about Captain Sindbad, the 1963 Arabian fantasy film from Bavaria. It’s not great, let’s be honest, but the later section in particular stuck in my mind from childhood and probably informs every fantasy #RPG I run. Zorro vs Kerim Bey! A deadly swamp! A comedy wizard! A predictable princess! A woefully poor dragon! A gigantic murderous hand for some reason! More cheese than Didsbury’s Cheese Hamlet! Worth a watch for inspiration.
