I have volunteered to work with a national panel of donors and the Canadian Blood Services to do some research and develop plans to increase donorship in Canada. So this got me thinking, what can I find out about current thoughts from donors? This is entirely for my own personal use, not part of a national program. Do you donate blood?

#MontrealCanadiens goalie Carey Price is doing what he can to help save a young girl’s life.

Teaming up with #HockeyGivesBlood on social media, Price posted a video on Thursday that urged young people with #FirstNations ancestry to #DonateBlood.

“I’m on here asking everyone with an #Indigenous background between the ages of 17 and 35 to join the #CanadianBloodService #StemCellRegistry,” he said.
