The #Centovalli 🇨🇭 line the other day: the new #Stadler units are currently performing local duties between #Locarno and #Camedo, but not yet international ones. (The latter station, and village, is located a few hundred metres from the Italian border.)

#Camedo is the last station in #Switzerland for international westbound trains on the #Centovalli🇨🇭#Vigezzina 🇮🇹 line. #SSIF unit ABe8/8 23 “Ossola” was in charge of the 17:50 departure from #Locarno to #Domodossola today, pictured here while making a very brief stop at Camedo.

#1August is #Switzerland’s national holiday. Railcar ABDe6/6 31, together with its trailer B123, is out today on the #Centovalli line as #TrenoStorico decorated for the occasion (🇨🇭). At #Camedo, the trainshed is operating as pop-up restaurant (also decorated for the occasion🇨🇭).
