The words "Black," "Indian" and "woman" are not in the endorsement. This is a historic moment and opportunity to shatter the ceilings The Times itself fortified with #ButHerEmail but the #BrokenTimes elides race and gender. That is the voice of white, male power.
I am waiting for The Washington Post to apologize for burying the Alito flag story. But then, I am still waiting for The New York Times to apologize for #ButHerEmail and #ButHisBirthday and countless other sins against democracy. So I think I'll be waiting a long time.
