But I have had a few people just randomly DM me who I've been talking to (mostly on Discord or TG) and also found a couple of Discord servers (The Wing Cabin for example) and Telegram groups (#Burdcrew is one of them) where I've met some interesting people as well.

The TG groups are mostly good for random bird videos and photos :> Someone even added me to the TG group for birds / avians who want to attend EF 28. I'm not even sure if I'll go yet, though. I find the TG groups a bit more chaotic because of the lack of channels, though and tend to lurk more there than on Discord.
