I found these photos tucked away in my year of reflection. They are not remarkable photos on their own, but I love the little details that they do contain. A favorite restaurant in Northside, now gone. The bar across the street with its gay pride, bear and leather flags. My old VW Rabbit!

Rock Band was one of the best video games ever made.
As I look back at this snapshot with Wendy, Tom and Bryan Jay taken by my partner at the time I wonder, do they still make those instruments? They did up until recently! There were some third party guitars that could work with some dongles, but it’s a bit of a crapshoot.
Thinking about starting a change dot org petition to bring the game back to the modern era. Strike that, a petition to resurrect the game exists — signed!
