Another #BrokedownPod favorite just landed. This record from @seawindofbattery really grabbed me last year. I’d been familiar with Mike’s work prior to this project but he really struck into something with this. It seems, from the hype sticker, that I’m not alone.
Nice to finally spin this one properly.
Props also to @islandhouserecordings for LP 01. It’s beautiful.
I was lucky enough to have James Toth in #BrokedownPod recently to discuss this album. I’ve been anticipating it for a long time and it’s such a treat to finally be able to drop a needle on the James & the Giants record.
It’s really a beautiful record and I can’t recommend it enough.
