Enquanto as empresas reuniam com os governos na cimeira criminosa onde desenham planos de morte, o movimento pela justiça climática reuniu-se na Colômbia para desenvolver o nosso plano para travar a crise climática e o sistema que a provoca e acelera.
O climáximo esteve presente!
A guerra em que vivemos é planetária. A única forma de a travarmos é através de colaboração internacional. Assim, de 5 a 10 de dezembro, estivemos a falar e trabalhar com coletivos e organizações de todo o mundo, desde comunidades indígenas que lutam há mais de 500 anos pelo seu território, como com sindicatos da indústria fóssil, até organizações que bloqueiam infraestruturas fósseis.
Entrámos em 2024 unidas e coordenadas na luta por um planeta habitável e uma sociedade com a vida no centro.
É urgente e possível mudar o sistema ao invés de mudar o clima. É urgente e alcançável um mundo com trabalho, habitação e saúde digna para todas as pessoas. Vem travar esta guerra, estejas onde estiveres no mundo.

While companies met with governments at the criminal summit where they drew up death plans, the climate justice movement met in Colombia to develop our plan to stop the climate crisis and the system that causes and accelerates it.
Climaximo was there!
The war we are living in is planetary. The only way to stop it is through international collaboration. So, from December 5 to 10, we spoke and worked with collectives and organizations from all over the world, from indigenous communities who have been fighting for their territory for over 500 years, to fossil industry unions, to organizations blocking fossil infrastructures.
We entered 2024 united and coordinated in the fight for a habitable planet and a society with life at its core.
It is urgent and possible to change the system rather than the climate. A world with jobs, housing and decent health for all people is urgent and achievable. Come and fight this war, wherever you are in the world.
