Any real life experience or advice re #monovision (#BlendedVision), please?

One suggested option for me is having one eye corrected to make it my distance eye and the other to be my reading eye. Have read lots about the pros and cons, and about the adjustment period, but would love to get some real feedback.

Will start by trialling with contact lenses (probably from tomorrow or Monday) before committing to LASIK
