I thought I would go ahead and share my primary research project here. "Against All Odds" is a website and #digitalhumanities project that provides information on the 150+ Black men who served as #Mississippi legislators during and just after #Reconstruction, from 1870-1894. It includes brief bios, photos, excerpts from primary and secondary sources, almost a thousand transcribed and cross-linked newspaper clippings, and more. #BlackHistory #BlackDH #histodons
