The Alberta government seems to be playing a Trumpy "flood the zone" game with us. While everyone is in a flap over the abuse of the Notwithstanding Clause to limit our rights (because workers' right and trans rights are Human Rights) they quietly introduced #Bill13 AKA the "Jordan Peterson Bill".

If passed into law this bill would prevent professional regulatory bodies from taking disciplinary action against their members for any form of "free expression" they make outside of the immediate sphere of their professional work, such as when Dr. Peterson was sanctioned for spouting garbage in his social media posts that were derogatory towards the profession of Psychology.

Yeah, so soon it could be illegal to fire a doctor for having an anti vax blog and so on...not just in medicine but all professions!

So now they want to override professional regulators for being too "woke"? Time to #RecallSmith !
