3/They not only register Iranian rituals and foods as their own, but even falsify Iranian personalities and claim them in UNESCO. I recently learned that “Behzad Miniature” has been registered under Afghanistan’s name, and #Samanu under Tajikistan’s name. UNESCO must not only revise this absurd practice, but also establish a clear mechanism through which countries can formally protest such blatant national and cultural thefts.
