@irmaodomario invited me to #Beareoke at the Eagle on Sunday evening, and @puplexington.bsky.social came along because he wanted to hear me sing. I only sang two songs: “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey (most of the other guys in the bar sang along!) and “She Used to Be Mine” from the musical Waitress (a heartbreaking, beautiful ballad). I’m glad I went to the karaoke, but I needed some downtime, so after an hour or so I went back to my hotel room and had an early night.
