Howdy!
I'm Elektra, and I've had a terrific weekend at Balticon. I visited with old friends and new, participated in some complex and thoughtful panels (and some silly ones), and am energized to do lots of creating!
My hubby bought me a lovely tiara that even matches my hair (pix below).
We even squeezed in going to the Artist GOH's kaffeeklatch--and Frank Wu is very very fun!
I would love to be at #Balticon right now. Sadly, once the kid got into middle and high school going on that trip for Memorial day weekend got pretty difficult. It's always a stretch considering that we usually go to #Heroescon which is 2 or 3 weeks later.
Maybe I will get back in a few years after the kid has graduated high school. I've had a fun time every time I've been.
Oooh! Got my programming schedule for Balticon and I'm SUPER pleased with it! I'll make a fancy graphic later, but if you're going to attend [and if you're in the area you really should, it's great] I'm having an official launch party for A Small Light in the Darkness there & would love to see you!
