Demonstration Eurovision in Concert

Eurovision in Concert has been the biggest Eurovision preview party in Europe for years. This edition, no less than 30 of the 37 countries will already perform their 2024 entry in AFAS Live. Fans and press from all over Europe will come to Amsterdam to see their Eurovision favourites live in action for the first time. In this time of genocide when accountability is so urgently needed, Eurovision’s refusal to expel Israel from the competition enables Israel to shamelessly use Eurovision to cover up its war crimes and crimes against humanity with songs about inclusion, diversity, and equality under Eurovision’s slogan “United by music”. Eurovision provides cultural cover for Israel’s mass slaughter of tens of thousands of Palestinians, almost half of whom are children. The Eurovision community is unique in its celebration of diversity and inclusion. In this spirit we will ask contestants and audiences present at Eurovision in Concert on April 13th to heed the Palestinian call to withdraw and boycott Eurovision 2024, the festival of hypocrisy.
