Stop Nakba Now: Hamburg camp to unite anti-war movements across Europe - DiEM25 Communications

Activists, movements and political organisations will gather in Hamburg from 9–16 May to build transnational solidarity against war, repression and austerity.

At a time of escalating wars, deepening militarisation, and accelerating authoritarianism across Europe, activists, movements, and political organisations are preparing to gather in Hamburg for a week of international solidarity and resistance.

From May 9 to 16, the “Bridges of Resistance” Camp will take place at Hamburg’s Moorweide, bringing together participants from across Europe and beyond to exchange strategies, connect struggles, and organise collective action against war policies, state repression, social injustice, and the rise of authoritarian politics.

Hamburg carries both symbolic and political significance for the mobilisation. As one of Germany’s most important ports, the city plays a central role in the global arms trade and in the infrastructure that sustains militarisation worldwide. Organisers say the camp aims to expose the links between war, political power, and economic interests — and to challenge the systems that profit from conflict and destruction.
