One of the hazards of being very small around someone who isn't fully functional and aware until they've had their morning caffeine jolt, is occasionally ending up becoming part of the drink.

Tiko has an alarm set to get up and make his owner a nice cup of javea on days Cozna works. (Javea is the Hayven Celestia universe analogue for coffee). Occasionally Tiko falls into the cup, either through his own sleepy clumsiness, or from Cozna grabbing for the cup without checking that the little guy is clear, and Tiko ends up part of the drink. (Not that Tiko minds being inside his owner's mouth, if fact it's his favorite place to be! He just prefers that Cozna actually be aware that he's in there for safety reasons, haha)

Thankfully Cozna's tongue stud makes for a very convenient safety device to hold onto. It's saved Tiko many times from being accidentally swallowed.

Also yes, Cozna has two thumbs on each hand. It's a feature of sourang that helps them climb easily.
