It looks to be a cloudy day today and whoa 😱, the temperature is supposed to rise to 82° Fahrenheit (~28° C), which is warm for February even in Louisiana. It's warm enough for gators to be out and about. I'm told there are alligators throughout most of Louisiana, but I've only seen them in the wild farther south from here. They are in the local lakes, and I would imagine the rivers as well, though and there are warning signs to alert potential swimmers of their presence.
