Someone is taking on the unpopular Mowbray / Williams backyard helicopter decision. Quiet Sky Waitematā filed an appeal to the Environment Court on Monday.

"The Independent Commissioners have decided that helicopters are 'inherently residential'. Therefore, they say that using a helicopter is a permitted activity - like using a bike or a car. In our opinion, that is absurd."

All power to the group. It takes courage to stand up against that level of brash cash.
